Shining 3D will collaborate with AGE Solutions, a dental design software solution provider to create a new 3D Software for digital dentistry. Indeed, AGE Solutions’ orthodontics design software Maestro 3D Ortho Studio, will be integrated into Shining 3D’s digital dental solution. The new software will therefore be based on this one.
The Maestro 3D Ortho Studio is used for the orthodontics-oriented inspection, editing and analysis, using high-quality 3D data of patient’s cases. It is made up of two main macro modules: Ortho Studio (orthodontic module) and Dental CAD / Dental Restoration (dental restoration module). Furthermore, other modules, such as Virtual Setup module, Brackets placement module, Models Builder, PDF3D module and Clear Aligner module are offered in the package.

In the market, digital dentistry professionals lack a solution that gathers the main technical competences for orthodontics: 3D scan, design, and 3D printing. The software of the two partners will meet these requirements. Both inbound and outbound, it accepts and generates open standard file, making the user free to turn to those who prefer to produce.
