For the joint venture of thyssenkrupp and Wilhelmsen, these certifications demonstrate commitment to quality, environmental, health and safety management as they imply the implementation of a comprehensive Integrated Management System (IMS).
The certification scope, encompassing “Sales, Engineering, Supply, and Manufacturing (including 3D printing) of Spare Parts On Demand through Digital Platform” holds significant importance within the maritime and offshore industries. It emphasizes Pelagus 3D’s ability to consistently provide spare parts and services that meet customer requirements, as well as applicable quality and regulatory requirements.

The ISO certifications reinforce the reliability and functionality of additively manufactured spare parts through the Pelagus Platform that links end users including vessel and offshore asset managers to Original Equipment Managers, empowering both parties to store customized digital inventory and create certified parts at scale globally. This underscores Pelagus 3D’s end-to-end customer journey – from order enquiry, manufacturing, quality review, and delivery of the parts.
