ZCZH relies on Xaar’s Nitrox printheads to improve high-precision wax-jetting

ZCZH, a China‑based industrial 3D printing company, is using Xaar’s Nitrox printheads to deliver high-precision wax-jetting for casting applications. The integration of Xaar’s printheads into ZCZH’s wax‑jetting 3D printing system would further digitize wax pattern production.
ZCZH’s wax‑jetting 3D printing system replaces conventional workflows with a fully digital, additive manufacturing process. At the core of the system is inkjet deposition enabled by Xaar’s Nitrox printheads, underpinned by its proven TF Technology and Sure Flow fluid management system. Together, these technologies enable continuous ink recirculation directly behind the nozzles, preventing sedimentation and reducing the risk of clogging, which is critical when jetting wax materials. The printhead architecture supports stable jetting of higher viscosity fluids while maintaining precise droplet control, allowing consistent wax deposition even across complex geometries.
As wax patterns are produced directly from 3D design data post‑processing is minimised, compressing production cycles from days to hours while maintaining micron‑level accuracy and repeatability. This enables foundries to accelerate new product development, first‑article verification and small‑batch production, a press communication reads.
According to Samual Tam, General Manager at Xaar Asia, by combining precise droplet control with stable, long‑duration jetting, inkjet enables manufacturers to digitize complex workflows and achieve consistent results at industrial scale.
The system supports small‑batch and multi‑variant production, allowing manufacturers to implement design changes directly at the digital model stage without the need for tooling. This eliminates mould costs and makes complex, low‑volume components more economically viable, particularly in sectors such as aerospace, automotive, medical devices and industrial equipment manufacturing.
Sinterit to provide DyeMansion’s post-processing systems
Users of the new SLS 3D printer BIANCO2 from Sinterit could now benefit from a manufacturing package that includes DyeMansion’s VX1 vapor smoothing system and the DM60 coloring system.
The SLS 3D printer manufacturer Sinterit signed an agreement with post-processing expert DyeMansion that will make him sell these solutions as well as other DyeMansion products directly to their customers.
Powered by DyeMansion’s proprietary VaporFuse Surfacing (VFS) technology, the VX1 could deliver smooth, sealed, and ready-to-use parts with surface quality comparable to injection molding.
Based on a solvent technology, the process produces high-gloss, water-repellent surfaces with consistent, repeatable results and through its easy plug & play design, it integrates into existing workflows even for first-time users, making it the natural first step for Sinterit customers looking to bring professional vapor smoothing into their setup, DyeMansion explains.
Combined with DyeMansion’s coloring technologies, BIANCO2 would help users move beyond prototyping and produce professional-looking, end-use parts with a high-quality finish, with coloring available as an option for those who need it.
Eaton inaugurates new European aerospace additive manufacturing center

Intelligent power management company Eaton opened a European Center of Additive Manufacturing in the U.K..
Designed to support localized, production-scale additive manufacturing in Europe and help customers address complexity, supply chain resiliency and production-readiness needs, the center Is located at Eaton’s aerospace manufacturing campus in Wimborne.
“By expanding our additive manufacturing capabilities in Europe, we’re enabling customers to move faster from design to production of certified components,” said Tomasina Bailey, vice president, engineering, Aerospace Group, Eaton. “With deep engineering expertise and integrated capabilities, Eaton is setting the standard for scaling additive in aerospace, delivering the performance, reliability and design flexibility customers need to deliver next generation platforms at scale.”
Eaton’s additive manufacturing capabilities enable the production of lighter, more efficient components while reducing material usage and minimizing the need for tooling. At the core of the facility is Eaton’s largest metal additive manufacturing system, capable of delivering up to twice the productivity of previous platforms, enabling faster development cycles, increased throughput for complex, safety-critical components.
Beehive Industries announces a $70 million plan for a 3D-printed jet engine facility in Ohio
Beehive Industries plans to expand its operations in Southwest Ohio, creating more than 200 new jobs and investing $70 million in the region.
Beehive’s expansion lands squarely in the national conversation about the defense industrial base. From Washington to America’s Heartland, policymakers and defense leaders agree that America’s ability to deter and defend depends on how quickly it can build and that permitting delays, red tape, and fragile supply chains are a national security vulnerability.
The State of Ohio and JobsOhio have built a collaborative, statewide “Team Ohio” economic development model to deliver certified, construction-ready sites prepared before demand arrives, permitting measured in months rather than years, cutting red tape, and delivering workforce solutions at the speed of business.
An incentive package is being designed to support hundreds of new Ohio jobs over the coming years as Beehive scales production in the region. The project will pursue a Job Creation Tax Credit from the Ohio Department of Development at an upcoming Tax Credit Authority meeting. JobsOhio also plans to provide assistance for the project, which will be made public after a final agreement is executed.
The announcement follows the company’s plans to more than double its metal additive manufacturing capacity with the single-largest publicly disclosed purchase of EOS metal printers.
It also acquired two Greater Cincinnati precision machine shops (Able Tool Corporation and Planet Products Corporation), establishing its Production Machining Center of Excellence in the Cincinnati region. Together, these investments are building the manufacturing system required to produce more than 8,000 engines annually.
The American manufacturer of advanced, 3D-printed jet engines for uncrewed aerial defense applications is gaining momentum as its Frenzy™ engine is entering full-rate production.
The engine is backed by a $29.7 million U.S. Air Force contract to advance the Frenzy engine family.
qualloy to distribute Constellium’s Aheadd® CP1 aluminium powder in Europe
qualloy, a B2B marketplace and knowledge hub for metal 3D printing powders, will distribute Constellium’s Aheadd® CP1 across Europe.
The material will be available from stock in Germany beginning in August and can be shipped to customers at short notice. qualloy will provide this offering in close cooperation with Rosswag Engineering, a company with which it recently teamed up.
For customers, the agreement combines several key benefits: local stock availability in Germany, short lead times across Europe, a competitive pricing structure, and direct access to technical expertise and dedicated contact persons.
At the same time, the cooperation supports Constellium’s approach of making Aheadd® CP1 more accessible to customers through qualified distribution partners, especially where flexible quantities, fast availability, and local support are important.
