nFrontier has announced Franka Emika GmbH, an expert in Tactile Robotics, has joined the recently opened nFrontier Emerging Technology Center (EmTeCe) as a second founding partner.
As a reminder, EmTeCe aims to become the one of Europe’s leading facilities of creatively applied Emerging Technologies in soft- and hardware. To do so, it will integrate the “Emerging Eight Technologies” in one single facility: Additive Manufacturing, Augmented Reality / Virtual Reality, Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, Robotics, Generative Design, Drones and Quantum Computing.
The Berlin-based innovation studio & venture builder has recently announced Stratasys as first founding partner.
The partnership with Franka Emika GmbH will focus on utilizing AI driven Tactile Robotics. The expert will provide 2 tactile robots and its latest software platform systems to enable the nFrontier Pioneers Team, its Partners and Clients to create outstanding new products and process workflows within the EmTeCe Lab Environment.
