Exponential Technologies Ltd. to enhance workflow of Aubert & Duval’s AM metal powders during the manufacturing process

Aubert & Duval - powder

Exponential Technologies Ltd. (xT), a software company that specializes in artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) for industrial markets, and Aubert & Duval, metallurgist expert and provider of metal powders for AM applications, will work together to enhance the manufacturing process in powder-bed fusion applications.

The collaboration will consist in including Aubert & Duval’s metal powder products for powder bed fusion applications into the printer parameter development platform – xT AMi. According to xT, adding printer and material specific information to its platform decreases necessary real-life experimentation by up to 90% and enables rapid fabrication of 3D printed products.

We are happy to welcome Aubert & Duval to our xT AMi platform. We are especially proud of the fact that from now on customers of Aubert & Duval will only require minimal real-life experimentation to develop or customize printer parameters. In the long run the xT AMi platform will benefit all stakeholders in the AM space as it will reduce entry barriers and boost the growth of the market as a whole”, states Matthias Kaiser, CEO of xT.

Peter VIKNER, Aubert & Duval Metal Powders Product Manager adds: “At Aubert & Duval we see how new ideas and technologies proposed by innovative start-ups help develop the additive manufacturing and we are happy to be able to work with Exponential Technologies Ltd (xT) in their development. The technology they propose is promising and we are eager to see if it can help part makers accelerate the adoption of new materials”.
