ELEGOO’s surprise at RAPID + TCT 2026: A multicolor system and a “giant” resin printer

3D printer manufacturer ELEGOO used RAPID + TCT 2026 in Boston to send a clear signal: the Shenzhen-based manufacturer is no longer content to play at the periphery of the industry conversation.

ELEGOO spotlights its 3D printing ecosystem at RAPID + TCT 2026

The company officially launched the Jupiter 2 and debuted the CANVAS multicolor system for Centauri Carbon at the three-day event, presenting them as part of a broader integrated 3D printing ecosystem.

The Jupiter 2 is positioned as an ultra-large format resin 3D printer. It combines 16K resolution with multi-point auto-leveling and smart resin management specs designed to address real pain points around consistency and scale. Applications span character modeling and jewelry through to functional prototyping and batch production.

The CANVAS multicolor system for Centauri Carbon was the more unexpected reveal. Designed for vibrant, seamless color transitions, it received positive feedback from attendees and is expected to be fully available by the end of April, with pricing to be announced. The Centauri Carbon has already proven to be a significant product for the company. We covered the launch of its companion fiber-reinforced filament series last year, which pointed to ELEGOO’s intent to build a materials strategy around the platform.

The booth also featured the Centauri Carbon 2 Combo, Saturn 4 Ultra 16K, and OrangeStorm Giga, alongside the Matrix remote control app and Nexprint, the open-source model platform it launched last year to build a community-driven content ecosystem.

Recent market data shows ELEGOO among the top vendors recording strong year-over-year growth in the entry-level segment, even as the broader industrial market faces headwinds. The question now is whether the company can translate that momentum into stickier, higher-value relationships and announcements like Jupiter 2 and CANVAS suggest it’s actively working on that answer.
