CORE Industrial Partners LLC (“CORE”), a Chicago-based private equity firm, has acquired provider of additive manufacturing services RE3DTECH.
With a focus on high-volume production parts, the latter delivers a set of in-house manufacturing services which include 3D printing, finishing, quality and assembly. The company’s 3D printing portfolio includes multi-jet fusion technologies and direct metal laser sintering, technologies that serve to the fabrication of production-grade parts across both polymer and metal materials.
RE3DTECH was founded in 2017 and is headquartered outside Chicago, IL. It serves a variety of end markets, including aerospace and defense, consumer, technology, industrial, automotive and medical, among others.
John May, Managing Partner of CORE, said, “Our investment in RE3DTECH represents an expansion of our thesis within the additive manufacturing sector to address the growing market for high-volume production needs.
