Bercella Srl, a company that designs and produces parts for several sectors, and RINA, a materials producer, are entering a partnership to explore the development of qualified multi-materials End-to-End Solutions for manufacturing.
Both companies are bringing their respective expertise in composite materials and Additive Manufacturing that will serve critical applications in the Aerospace, Defense, Marine and Energy sectors – all industries where Bercella delivers value-added proposition.
Ultimately, these solutions will play a key role in supporting the energy transition, the development of circular economy in the world of composites, and at-large decarbonization.
Together, Bercella and RINA will conduct Feasibility Studies and related design and testing phases (chemical, physical and mechanical tests), up to the qualification of the products and their effective use. Thanks to its experience in the design and processing of Composite Materials, Bercella can take advantage of internal technologies such as those present in the Material Testing Lab. In this lab, laboratory tests are carried out for the study and qualification of the materials that are then used for prototyping and for the production of small, medium and large-scale components.
