BCN3D unveiled its latest 3D printer at TCT Show

The TCT Show was the opportunity for a great number of companies to unveil their latest innovations. BCN3D did not escape this trend since it showcased the Sigmax, its biggest professional 3D printer. It is a premiere for the Barcelona-based 3D printers’ manufacturer.

The company implemented, IDEX, an independent Dual Extruder system, which is intended to take advantage of the 420 x 289 x 210 mm 3D printer.  Indeed, the latter enables users to print the same model using both tool head simultaneously.

A new version of the company’s software, BCN3D-Cura, follows the launch of the Sigmax. It relies on the popular open source slicing technology allowing advanced features such as duplicate and mirror 3D printing. Its release date is expected to be on October 18th. 

Roger Uceda, CEO of BCN3D Technologies states: “this product released will allow our partners and us to easily meet the customer’s needs, providing more accurate solutions for each vertical market. Our goal is to defy the current manufacturing status quo and, thanks to the BCN3D Sigmax and its highly productive features, we are convinced we’ve taken a new step in the right direction.
