3D printing material producer AmeraLabs has announced the development of 3 materials for dental 3D printing applications: CIT-25 for custom impression trays, SGR-28 for surgical guides, and TRY-23.
According to the Lithuania-based company, all three materials are CE Class I-marked and comply with EN ISO 10993-1. They are non-cytotoxic, non-sensitizing, and non-irritating.
CIT-25, SGR-28, and TRY-23 cure with 385 nm and 405 nm light sources, offering broad compatibility with LCD/LED and DLP printers from manufacturers such as Asiga, Phrozen, Formlabs, Anycubic, Elegoo, and Prusa, as well as similar systems.
How does each of them stand out?
TRY-23 is intended for try-in dentures, diagnostic dentures, and try-in implant-supported dentures. It can also support splint fit checks, occlusal verification, tooth setup verification, and digital mock-ups.
With a flexural modulus above 2 GPa, TRY-23 has the rigidity needed to hold its shape during fit verification. Its very low water absorption helps preserve dimensional accuracy through lab-to-clinic transit, chairside adjustment, and rescanning workflows. The material is available in four tooth shades, A1, A2, B1, and B2, and is easy to cut, stain, and polish.
SGR-28 was developed for dental implant navigation surgical guides intended for tooth-supported and mucosa-supported use. It can be used for freehand guidance, pilot-drill guides, single-implant cases, full-arch and full-mouth reconstruction (FMR) cases, as well as partially and fully guided surgery. The material is also suitable for complex stackable “puzzle-type” immediate loading guides.

With a Shore D hardness of 85 and high flexural strength, SGR-28 is designed to help surgical guides remain rigid and dimensionally stable during handling and use. This helps maintain stable drill paths during surgery. The resin accepts both polymer and metal guide sleeves and is autoclavable for clinical use when AmeraLabs post-processing instructions are followed.
Designed for custom edentulous, dentulous, and implant trays, CIT-25 supports both full-arch and sectional tray designs. The resin prints accurately at layer heights of up to 200 µm and is compatible with common impression materials, including silicone and alginate. When processed according to AmeraLabs instructions, it does not inhibit silicone and eliminates the need for separator sprays.
CIT-25 is also made for practical adjustment after printing. It trims, grinds, and drills cleanly with standard dental tools, helping support fast chairside modifications. The material resists cracking during handling, maintains its geometry over time, and cures with both 385 nm and 405 nm light sources.

The new resins are free from TPO, THFA, MMA, BPA, and phthalates and are available through the AmeraLabs shop and authorized resellers.
