Ipsen USA, a provider of heat-treating solutions, has launched its new vacuum furnace control platform ICON, compatible with most standard Ipsen furnace models.
Developed through extensive customer collaboration and real-world testing, ICON combines the strengths of Ipsen’s CompuVac and VacuProf control systems into a single, modern interface. Added features improve the user experience while providing greater visibility into furnace operations.
The launch marks the culmination of an 18-month development effort focused on understanding how customers interact with their equipment every day. Throughout the process, Ipsen gathered feedback from operators, maintenance personnel, and management teams to develop a platform that is both intuitive and capable of meeting the evolving needs of today’s heat treaters.

It reflects how our customers want to operate their furnaces,” said Aymeric Goldsteinas, Vice President of Digital Technologies at Ipsen. “By listening to their feedback throughout development, we’ve created a platform that simplifies operation while providing the information users need to make informed decisions.”
Before its public release, ICON was evaluated in demanding production environments, including a leading commercial heat treater and a global aerospace manufacturer. Feedback from both organizations helped refine the platform and confirmed its ability to deliver an intuitive user experience while supporting the high standards required in critical heat-treating applications.
ICON is available immediately on most standard Ipsen vacuum furnace models. Availability for larger, highly customized, or specialized furnace configurations may vary during the initial rollout as Ipsen continues to expand compatibility across its product portfolio.
