Event Details
On September 7th, Danish AM Hub will gather about 40 speakers and 40 exhibitors, during its traditional annual event. Acknowledged as Scandinavia’s largest conference for Additive Manufacturing (AM) / industrial 3D printing, the 2022 edition of the AM Summit will be held under the theme ‘Additive Impact – Additive Manufacturing and 3D Printing as a driver for sustainable manufacturing’.
The conference will focus on how new technologies like 3D printing can help us produce more sustainable and competitively with stronger and more circular business models and more robust supply chains.
During the conference Tuesday September 7th in Copenhagen, many speakers will take the stage and present their views on what future production will bring, how leading players in the field are already working with Additive Manufacturing / 3D printing and how to get started with AM technology.
Among other things, the AM Summit 2022 will tell us how Boeing uses 3D printing in the aircraft industry, how CELLINK works with bioprint – ie 3D printing of living tissue for the production of bones and living tissue – how Danish Create it REAL produces insoles in a circular business model. And we will get inspired in a panel debate on how we can utilize new technology to make Denmark the greenest production country in the world.
And last – but not least, we will be entertained by a Guns N ’Roses cover band – GNR-Jam – which will play on an electric guitar developed and 3D printed from recycled sawdust.
To accommodate even more inspiration, the program will also offer more breakout sessions than previous years, which address the development of AM technology within six themes: New materials for more sustainable production, how 3D printing challenges different production industries, gender diversity in the industry, sustainable construction, the development of our healthcare sector and a session with some of Denmark’s leading experts in the field.
The conference is for anyone who is interested in the development and influence of AM technology, and who wants to network, become wiser and be inspired. With exciting speakers and the large AM exhibition, the conference is a forum for the exchange of knowledge and experience and a unique opportunity to let creative actors present their qualified bids on the latest technology, trends and developments as well as the future of the AM industry.
