    Responsibilities:

    Lead efforts for customer application development with a production focus for the automotive vertical
    Ensure on-time delivery of customer applications and manage customer satisfaction
    Build great collaborative relationships between our HP 3D printing business unit and our customers, to enable the design and engineering of extraordinary experiences and applications.
    Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Finance and other product teams to understand their objectives & opportunities for alignment
    Establish release and application launch schedules with engineering and operations
    Manage Application life-cycle from initial analysis through re-design and productization
    Work with Sales, R&D to engineer the best technology & experience for 3D printing customers
    Work with Automotive customers to develop performance specifications for MJF process and materials
    Support business development efforts as needed
     

    Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

    Engineering background (Mechanical Engineering, Plastics Engineering, Material science) with an MBA ideal
    Excellent communication and business problem solving skills
    Excel at bridging the technical and business domains to deliver products
    Proven experience in DFX (design for) techniques and tools: design for manufacturability, design for cost, design for quality, design for value. Topology optimization and simulation is a plus.
    Knowledge of CAD, CAE, CAM, cloud, analytics, IoT, manufacturing systems, digital thread, digital enterprise systems (ERP, PLM, CRM) and/or professional services.
    Experience with plastics component procurement and supply chain development within the automotive vertical
    Demonstrated expertise in some of the following areas: Plastics Materials, 3DP, mechanical part design, new product development, manufacturing, supply chain, process characterization, and quality management.
    Understanding of the relationships and implications between digitization and manufacturing, operations, key performance metrics, supply chain and logistics.
    Professional services, strategic consulting and/or solution selling experience is highly valued, as well as a depth of knowledge of automotive vertical
    Involvement with professional societies such as IDSA, SPE, SME, or ASME with a proven ability to present at seminars and conferences.
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Mastery in English and local language.
