Three years after a single observation of the market by Pierre-Antoine Pluvinage, Business Development Director for the Armor Group and the launch of Amor 3D whose activity is focused on the production of eco-designed 3D filaments, Amor 3D becomes Kimya.

Kimya’s 360° offer

In addition to its 3D materials, Kimya provides support and R&D services through Kimya Lab; and offers its clients a network of reliable partners through Kimya Services.

Kimya has enhanced its offer of eco-responsible, recycled and recyclable 3D printing filaments. Remember, this type of filaments, especially the OWA 3D PS, enabled to produce the OWA speaker. Today, the Kimya catalogue integrates a dozen products for users. Some of them have already convinced some companies such as German RepRap that has approved the use of the PEKK Carbon filament on all its 3D printers.

As for Kimya Lab, this offering consists in providing a range of services to both industrials and 3D printing companies. They will benefit from formulation and application analysis for all types of materials dedicated to additive manufacturing in line with particular functional requirements. Furthermore, thanks to Kimya Lab’s production line, they will be able to produce themselves theirs 3D materials and benefit from customer support for the manufacturing of their parts.

“Kimya has constructed its DNA around a collaborative model.” That’s why, the subsidiary of the Armor group aims to facilitate trade exchange between the different players of the industry (fields of training, 3D printing services and the installation and maintenance of 3D printers). A network that has even allowed Airbus to acquire a German RepRap X500 3D printer and Kimya filaments.

You may discover Kimya’s services at the 3D Print show in Lyon on 5-6-7 June 2018, Hall 1 – Stand D14.
