This week’s trend highlights the collaborations and/or partnerships that are being created and solidified because of this industry. Companies from different sectors are bringing their knowledge of 3D technology to the table and are forging alliances not only for their benefit but for the benefit of the mass public.
Airbus enters the 3D market with a strong partner on its arm, Materialise. Both companies are to produce 3D parts to be used in Airbus’ commercial aircraft.
Sismaltalia, Metropole & Marie 3D
As part of this year’s annual Ski Deal Week in Italy, Italian company Sismaltalia, French-based company Metropole, and Marie 3D have come together to produce a range of large 3D printed winter sports accessories and its piece de resistance … The Ski Boot.
FPX and Catalog Data Solutions
Company specialising in Configure Price Quote solutions, FPX, joins Catalog Data Solutions in improving B2B buyers’ experience online by combining both company strengths and knowledge of 3D technology.
3DCeram-Sinto & DORST Technologies
French-based company, 3DCeram-Sinto, to collaborate with German company DORST Technologies to further expand its additive manufacturing offering. Company currently provides customers with 3D printed ceramic parts and such an agreement is said to expand the commercial development in overseas markets.
