Paladin 3D, a SLA 3D printer for consumers

Panda3D is a manufacturer of desktop 3D printers that aims to offer low-cost solutions to professionals. The innovator recently unveiled Paladin 3D, a SLA 3D printer that creates objects using photopolymerization, a process by which light causes chains of molecules to link, forming polymers.

This type of technology is used for parts that require a smooth finished surface as well as a certain accuracy. With XY resolution of 50μm, the 3D printer has a solid body and integrates an auto-leveling system to facilitate the printing process. Furthermore, it features dual z-axis slides that enable the production of fine details.

According to Panda3D, the 3D printer adds durability and reliability with its all metal design. It is plug-and-play, uses a visual menu for print settings, and includes easy to use slicer software. It also has a USB drive for easy transfer of print models and an interactive touchscreen. An air purification system also helps to keep harmful odors in check for a safer, more comfortable printing environment.

The 3D printer makes it easier for users who are passionate about creating highly detailed models, prototypes, arts and crafts and more.

Paladin 3D is now available on Kickstarter with pre-sales and special deals for early adopters.
