Melorra: its jewels collections fabricated using 3D technologies prior to the festive season

Jewellery Indian brand Melorra has recently invested in 3D printing technologies to improve the quality of fabrication of its jewels. In order to be ready for the festive season, the company will launch over 42 new designs every week.

The new collections have the usual Melorra design edge and will address accessorizing for every new trend in the world of apparel fashion. The glittery and classy disco collection is inspired by sequined dresses perfect for that party look. The fringe collection will feature diamonds to give the jewellery an extra bling. The floral bouquet collection made with enamel plated gold is for that bold yet feminine look.

Speaking about the launches, Ms Saroja Yeramilli, CEO and Founder, Melorra, said, “With the festivities approaching, jewellery will naturally be on top of every woman’s mind. Melorra’s new collection is fashion-forward, lightweight, and trendy. Each one of the pieces is quirky and can be styled to complement your everyday wardrobe including what you wear during festivities.”

With back-to-back festivals starting October, including Navratri, Durga Puja, Dussehra, KarvaChauth, Diwali and Chhath Puja, women typically are left with very limited real jewellery options to accessorize their look for the day. They opt for either artificial jewellery or adorn heavy pieces bought during their wedding. Melorra’s new collections are distinctive in their design direction and each collection will match with a different look in one’s wardrobe.

Remember the brand’s philosophy: “buy-now, wear-now”. The company has invested in the latest CAD (Computer Aided Design) technology, enabling high precision and accuracy in making jewellery moulds through 3D printing. The jewellery is cast using the moulds and final finish is left at the hand of expert artisans. Over 75% of the collections are priced below INR 30,000. All the gold jewellery is BIS hallmarked and the diamonds are SGL, IGI and DGLA certified.
