Materials Solutions – A Siemens Business to test the EOS M 300 series intended to metal AM

This will be a premiere for the EOS M 300 series. Launched at IMTS Chicago, EOS new platform for metal-based serial additive manufacturing will be tested for the first time by Materials Solutions – A Siemens Business.

The four-laser system will already be featured at the official inauguration of the new Materials Solutions site in Worcester (UK). As a reminder, the system enriches the manufacturer’s portfolio for Direct Metal Laser Sintering (DMLS). It offers a build volume of 300 x 300 x 400 mm and integrates fours scanners that enable the lasers to reach all spots on the build platform and flexible component orientation. The industrial 3D printing specialist has ensured that the system is capable to work in an automated way using an integrated software into existing and future manufacturing environments.

Materials Solutions, a partner of choice for this test

Materials Solutions has positioned itself as a reliable partner in the additive manufacturing industry. Even though, the company benefits from Siemens support and brand awareness, it should be noted that the re-opening of this facility marks a milestone towards industrialization of Additive Manufacturing.

The digitalised production factory offers R&D, production and post-processing, everything under one roof on amazing 4.500 sqm. The manufacturing capacity will be extended to more than 50 printers arranged in a future proof flexible AM cell approach.

We can’t wait to discover the results of this first test.
