Intamsys series A funding will enable to develop 3D printers for Industry 4.0

Industry 4.0 has increasingly become the concern of companies in the 3D printing industry. INTAMSYS intends to also bring its contribution in that sense hence the series A fundraising the company recently secured to develop Industry 4.0.

If the amount of the funding remains unknown, we do know that it has been led by CWB Capital, a venture capital firm which invests in smart manufacturing ecosystem. Its aim is to see China becomes a sustainable smart manufacturing ecosystem.

We see tremendous potential from INTAMSYS in excelling and eventually leading in the era of Industry 4.0 given the company’s current position as an industry leader in PEEK 3D printing, offering customized high-performance functional materials additive manufacturing solutions to the industries.” said Prof. Li Zexiang.

On its side, Intamsys aims at “Creating Infinite Possibilities to Customize Future Life”. This investment will enable the company to expand the market deployment of its functional materials 3D printing solutions and intensify INTAMSYS’ advanced research and development initiatives alongside the application demands of industrial users.

Over time, be it through its partnerships with companies such as Polymaker or offering such as its online service, Intamsys increasingly becomes a powerful competitor not only for Chinese companies but also for European ones.
